About IKC Katwijk

In the Integral Child Center, which opened in 2024, we join forces with partners from education and youth services to create an environment in which every child can develop optimally. By bringing our expertise together in a multidisciplinary approach, the child experiences a continuous line from baby to adolescent, with a developmental route tailored to the child and always surrounded by familiar faces.

At the IKC Katwijk, we offer day care, Pre-school and After School Care .

Pre-school
The Pre-school is specifically for children ages 2 to 4. Here toddlers can play, learn and discover together with peers. The toddlers are offered activities in different themes appropriate to their age. This way they are well prepared for elementary school. Our Pre-school in IKC Katwijk is open Monday through Thursday from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.

Full day care
At IKC Katwijk we offer full-day care for children aged 0 to 4 years. The day care is open daily from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. With our permanent team of employees we provide professional and pleasant care for your child(ren).

After School Care and After school care+
The After School Care is for children ages 4 to 13. Children from the schools listed below are basically placed at this After School Care :

  • Dalton School Katwijk
  • De Windvang
  • The Leidse Buitenschool

As of November 1, Childcare Katwijk , in cooperation with the municipalities in the Holland Rijnland region and Cardea (specialized youth aid), is starting a After school care+ facility. The After school care+ is intended for children who, due to a disability or behavioral problems, cannot attend a regular After school care. On the After school care in IKC Katwijk seven care places will be available. Placement at one of the care spots is always by mutual agreement.
